To most people, they think change cannot reach them, nothing can affect the status quo, nothing can reach into people’s lives, everything is just fine; if only people could see it, the impact might not be so great.
How many people are beginning to awaken;
waking up to the sad reality that the dream is real, and they are spellbound?
Hardship is now no longer just limited to the homeless;
people with families living in homes, are beginning to suffer poverty.
So many people in today’s life take so much for granted; the food in the cupboards, the water in the taps, the warmth in their homes; what can we take for granted, everything now seems so uncertain?
How many people read and watch the news?
Every news article is like turning the page of a book; a new chapter begins …
There is now so much bureaucracy, so much red tape, that even they themselves are tripping over themselves, when trying to get anything done. Department upon department, person on person …
If you cannot feel it, if you cannot touch it, if you cannot smell it,
how do you know what money is worth?
In today’s world, chains are everywhere; they say we are free, as long as we allow them to enslave us, we must be their captives.
Are we their pets? Are we free to roam upon the fields of life?
The money that was spent, has to be accounted for; did anyone in their right mind, with a brain cell on duty,
really think all the cash handouts were free?
The face changes, but the policies remain.
It is all about the money; as it has always been, since time immemorial.
