Meeting The Bills Making The Rent
How many people can pay all their bills, can make their rent? How many people are behind on their payments?
Why did they switch everyone to paying monthly for everything? Why did they convince so many to take on so much?
Greed is an evil, an evil that works against the mind. People don’t even notice it happening, it just worms its way in; and once people are contractually obliged, or trapped in their payment schemes, the system changes the game, increases the cost of living.
In real terms, wage increases are negative; did people honestly think that something given to them in one hand, wouldn’t be taken back from them with the other?
It is a ‘zero sum gain’; no matter how much people have, because their lives change, they are not actually any better off. Millions of people, possibly billions of people …
How crazy are these numbers? How do we see a million people? How can we conceive of a billion people?
It is like personal debt or governmental debt, the numbers are so huge, that very few people look at them, what is the point? What is the point in looking at these numbers?
The point is, these numbers are affecting people’s lives; economies expanded, businesses expanded, the population of the world expanded, everything grew, there was growth, people were having a party. Things had never been so good, people could just borrow astronomical amounts of money, people were borrowing ten times their income, buying things that they did not need, it was as if money was free; but we all know that is not the case, money has been designed to, and is used for, control.
With so many people falling behind, with so many people not being able to pay their bills; for their mortgages, their vehicles, their clothing, and their food, even utility payments are being missed; energy bills, water bills; the knock-on effect of all this, is that there is less money being collected by these businesses. And as a direct result of that, these businesses will be forced to make cutbacks, so that they can make sense, and restructure the debts that they are struggling to pay back; job losses are an inevitable reaction.
Which brings this whole situation back to where we started, we have gone full circle; when people miss their payments, other people lose their jobs.
How are our governments fit for purpose? How are our leaders demonstrating to us that they know what they are doing?
If we fail to deliver and cannot do our jobs, what happens to us within a matter of weeks or months? Should they not be given the same timescale to prove themselves to us, to show us that they can actually do the job that we employ them to do?
Whose fault is it? Where does the responsibility lie? Who keeps changing the rules by which people should live or die?
They tempted us, the seduced us, they cajoled us, to where so many people now find themselves today. Falling behind on payments, red letters; how much stress, how much anxiety, how much pain, did their forward planners, their bean counters, their committee members plan for?
There should be a crash, there should be a reset, there should be a bringing about of a correction, where society is reset and people are not encouraged to live way beyond their means, are not seduced into having more than they can afford.
Who is behind all this, and what are their plans?
Society is going in the wrong direction, difficult times lay ahead; just try and tell that to someone who has been given what they perceive to be the financial freedom to borrow for whatever they wanted.
A life of debt, a life of regret, or snap out of it and live a normal, non-fantasy existence; which one do you think people have chosen?
And what sort of a mess do you think people’s lives are in now?
