Truth Unvarnished
What hides in the shadows? What hides in the daylight?
What hides right before us, that we are refusing to see?
Is ‘head in the sand’ the answer? Should we be like the ostrich and bury our heads, or should we stare at it, square in the face, and see the unvarnished truth of what they keep from us?
In keeping the truth from us, do they aid or hinder us?
How many people can handle the truth? How many people really want to know? What does ‘truth’ do to people? What does it unlock?
We stare at ourselves in the mirror, we look at what stares back at us, we see what we want to see; and yet, for the life of us, we refuse to accept.
Is life engineered that way, to keep us suppressed, to keep us subdued?
They treat us with contempt, they hide it in respect. Your home, your dreams, your desires; they target the senses, they target our minds, psychological traps do they lay, and then like swooping vultures do they prey.
They prey on the vulnerable, the innocent, the weak of will; that weakness do they exploit.
We are challenged, we are tested; our belief; they spin us around and around until we cannot stand, and then they come in for the kill.
Truth unvarnished; who wants to know it? Who can stand it? Who welcomes it?
What can any of us do, life is not ours; it belongs to those who control the water, the food, the things that we pursue?
Don’t look, there is no need, they will provide for all your needs.
Look at the people, see how they change; more illness, more mind problems, trapped in mental health. The health services struggle, they creak, they strain; many are on the brink of collapse.
Illness has befallen and swept the land; is life, human life, on the precipice of disaster?
What can be done to halt the change, to stop the rot? How can the carcasses be swept away? What has to happen for people to wake up, and see the unvarnished truth?
It awaits all, there is no escaping it.
