Staring Into The Abyss – The World Does
When the people of the world look at where they are, would they ever believe that their mortality is so close to being challenged?
Has the world gone mad? Are our politicians suffering mind-fog?
Do any of them have true clarity of thought?
We have an American President in his 80s, making, what some people think are, rational decisions.
Who are his advisors? What are they thinking? Who in their right mind thinks that a confrontation with Russia will bring anything other than annihilation?
There is no upper-hand in this game, no one holds all the aces, the world is facing ‘near catastrophe’; are we looking at an E.L.E., an Extinction Level Event, if people do not comes to their senses soon?
Why does Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine, seek a nuclear exchange with Russia? Does he not realise that it will lead to his own demise? This man is a comedian, a joker in the pack, he is incessantly pestering the US and Britain for the right to fire long-range intercontinental ballistic missiles into Russia, to strike Moscow or St Petersburg.
How many people are showing themselves, in world politics today, to have suicidal tendencies? What craziness, what madness, are we seeing, witnessing?
A select few are trying to decide the outcome of life for hundreds of millions, if not billions of people.
The World Economic Forum once said, ‘there are just too many people on this planet’.
Is Zelenskyy and his cohorts on their payroll? Will Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his close aids fire the rockets and run; as the rockets head to Russia, he heads to one of his properties in the US? What he doesn’t seem to be able to fathom, is that Russia’s response will overtake him leaving.
Will Russia backup its threats? Will it launch tactical nuclear weapons against first Washington, then London, then Ukraine? How long will it take, once launched, to hit their targets?
What will it be like to be on the receiving end of such a weapon? Maybe those who witness it, will be grateful that it will only last for a second or two.
Make no mistake, a nuclear exchange will be catastrophic for all concerned. Once the touch-paper is lit, once the mistakes are made, there may be no way out.
The world economies are collapsing, countries and governments are going broke, maybe the only way out that the neo-cons can see, is total destruction and to begin again. What will they begin again with, once the EMPs have been used and the nuclear bombs have been dropped?
Is this something that we can turn away from? Is it someone else’s problem? What future do we have in the hands of warmongering megalomaniacs?
Is the world staring into the abyss, or is the abyss staring back at the world?
It will take less than an hour for things to change forever.
Should nuclear weapons and things of such destructive power be outlawed and dismantled, and consigned to the history books?
How are people on the street meant to make sense of what is going on in their name?
Is there any sense to be made of it at all?
