What Is Baked Into The Cake Today – Dare We Look?
Are we talking about cooking or are we talking about a series of events that are yet to unfold? Are these events beginning to show themselves? Are we beginning to see them take shape?
Look at the weather of the world, is it not changing? How will that affect our lives? Are these events one-offs, are they unique, or are they fast becoming a series of changing patterns that we are seeing around the world?
Some say that weather can be affected, they even dare to say it can be manipulated.
Theorists suggest particles can be added to cloud formations.
Madness or fact? Who knows? But it is out there.
If that be the case, why would people seek to change our weather patterns? What could they do, affect crops, change harvests, limit the availability of food, alter prices? Would something like this not alter the economic balance, the scales of power in the world? Would it shift, could it shift country’s positions on the world stage?
No one would do that, would they?
Why would they?
But if they did, what might happen? How would people react to food shortages, to rationing, to going without? Are these three things not already happening, in places like Venezuela, Gaza? Are we not seeing the impoverished, are we not seeing the control, are we not seeing inhumanity?
Does this not all revolve around money and the power with which to wield it, the power with which to inflict suffering and pain?
Should people not all work together for the common good? What is the common good today, when so many people, so many human beings, only think of themselves and what they want, what they can have?
What if the roles were reversed?
What would that picture look like? How many of us would trade places to be homeless, to be penniless, to be starving?
Who has the answers? Can the differences be set aside?
Will people come to their senses before it is too late?
