The Plague Of The Brain Dead Approaches

 
When a cliff edge is so close but in the dark we cannot see it; how have they managed to convince us, how have they managed to persuade us, to be so gullible, so easily led?

Has this pandemic not now shown us how vulnerable we really are, how dependant we have become on the gifts of the state? How many people are now finding themselves in financial difficulty, in financial despair?

Have we not all been convinced to have everything we ever wanted; smart phones, computers, motor vehicles, holidays, and homes?
But when we look what do we see?

How many people today, are paying for these things with money that they have in hand, as savings in a bank? Judging by what has just come to light, judging by what we are seeing around the world, the Coronavirus, COVID-19, has highlighted a very serious flaw; hardly any of us had any savings, hardly any of us have a safety net.

We are told not to worry, we are told they will protect us, they will look after us, they will financially support us in our hour of need.
Did we say hour, or should we be saying, months, 6 months or a year?

The markets crashed; stocks and shares, businesses approached the cliff edge; Central Banks and governments tried to reassure the markets, tried to reassure the people. They poured Trillions into the economy and still the markets fell. They created rescue packages, so that people could stay at home.
They assured us the money was there. But was it? Is it?

Where does it come from? Do they have money in their bank accounts? Does anybody have money in their bank accounts?
They are having to borrow this money, they are having to create it. They are having to buy every asset, every financial instrument they can lay their hands on.
The game is afoot.

Let us hope they do not score an own goal, because if they do, we are all screwed.

How many years will we have to pay for this? How much will our taxes have to rise by?

How much extra debt will we have to take on in the years to come, so that they can say they saved the world with their actions?
