Only Got Yourself To Blame – Right Or Wrong?

 
When this pandemic hit, when this pandemic started, people around the world were slow to react. It was China’s problem, nothing to do with them …

And then the planes flew, the boats crossed the oceans, people travelled by train; worldwide travel continued, people were not warned to stay at home, the economies had to be protected, at all costs.
What are these costs?

We are those costs. We are the people that always pay the bill. What excuse can there be? How can answers be found? How can we bring the dead back to life? What are the real numbers? How many souls have we lost?

We see coffins lined up, we see medical staff unprotected; how many people are really concerned? How many people are really looking at this pandemic? We turn away from things we do not like, we cover our nose to smells that disturb us and yet people warn of disease, they warn of death and still the people walk.

Are they walking into the abyss or are they already there?

How many people of the world take their lives seriously? Not money, not parties, not drugs, not material possessions but their very existence; their life and their continuance of it. The Coronavirus, COVID-19 disease, is real.
It is not in a book. It is not in a paper. Who has to die for the people to wake up?
Or are the people already d . . . ?

Can we see this in their faces, in the way they walk; nonchalantly they disregard sound advice.

“Please stay at home, please protect your lives”

This message is being broadcast around the world and still people choose to ignore. They choose their own destiny; their fate is in their hands.
But no. Others can become casualties of this stupidity, of this ignorance.

What should be done, what can be done? Is a warning enough, is a fine enough? Would capital punishment be a true deterrent or do these people hate themselves so much, that they care less about their very existence and in that they jeopardise others and those around them.

Do the masses, who choose this path, walk ever closer to the cliff edge and as they fall, do they not reach out and attempt to pull others over with them?

What should be done to stop this?

What should be done to protect the innocent?
