Where Does Our Future Lie, In The World Itself
The lie is everywhere we look. It is all conquering. It has consumed us. It has us believing that we are free, free to choose, nothing at all.
George Orwell’s famous comment in his 1984:
“If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face forever.”
We are allowed to believe, we are allowed to choose; we have freedom of choose, but where that freedom of choice and the lie intersect, we find everyday life. We see our existence as relevant, we see our lives as precious; so why do so many of us abuse them, why are we never satisfied?
How many people around the world are in debt? How many people are debt slaves? How many people are owned by the financial institutions? Most, if not all, fall within this category because most are living a dream.
The poor live on a shoe string; hand to mouth do they live. The rich live on a rope, tethering their wealth to their possessions. If we were to take away the dependencies, who would survive the best? Who could cope with loss? Would the poor adapt to having less, would the rich adapt to loss?
How many people in the 1929 stock market crash, the beginning of the financial depression, where seen to be jumping out of windows, committing suicide? How many poor where seen to be joining them on the top of these financial obelisks of achievement?
Some people will adapt quite readily, to what is unfolding before us today. Others will jump without a parachute; no soft landing. The elastic they have suspended themselves by will snap.
Where we now find ourselves, is in a worse position than the 1929 crash, the picture is yet to unfold; the mist, the fog is yet to clear to the many. But when it does, get out of the way, stay out of the way; be somewhere else.
There will be no fighting this. There can be no stopping it.
They have backed themselves into a corner, where the only answer is US.
