In A Snowstorm How Do We Pick Out A Flake?
In a snowstorm of information, a blizzard of opinion, how do people know right from wrong?
With all the news channels and all the information on the internet, how can anyone know what to believe? Are people just selectively picking what suits them, like a comfort blanket supporting their situation, their mood?
What will comfort these people who have chosen to believe the stories? How comforted will they be when the mainstream narratives become the nightmares of nightmares? Why do people so easily forget, why are they so easily distracted?
Are people suffering memory loss; forgetting what has gone before?
Why can we not re-enter a period of economic decline, last seen in the great depression of the 1920s? Why is it too difficult to believe that they have got it wrong again, and people are in trouble?
They cannot borrow us out of debt, all they can do is make it harder for the people.
Some are saying technology and the ability to create money is the safeguard that wasn’t available in the 1920s. That may well be the case, but in the 1920s, when the roaring 20s were over and the realities of that struck home, the economic depression lasted for a decade or more. Some say only World War II, ignited and allowed the economy to restart itself.
These times are unprecedented. Never has there been a time when so many have been indebted to so few.
Billions and Billions, Trillions and Trillions, of Dollars, Pounds, and Euros, have been borrowed into existence, to keep this sinking ship from going under. Can they create money into infinity, printing us into oblivion? Will the people feed the wealth? How many people in debt today, will be the wealthy of tomorrow?
This is not equality we are seeing, this is an asset grab by the ultra-wealthy; slicing up the cake to benefit the few.
Sound economies, sound economics, a solid monetary system, a reliant fiscal policy, are words written on a piece of paper that are now in the shredder. More and more people are being forced, are being encouraged into deeper and deeper debt.
But why is that?
Is that a question we should ask?
Why do they need us so vulnerable? Why do they need us to be so dependent?
How long will we have to wait? How long will people have to endure this before we see what they have planned for us, or can we already see it?
Will people ever be able to see through the blizzard, and find the ‘flake’ that has lied to them for so long?
