Should We Live Within Our Means Or Should We Spend As Much As We Can?
Now that is a real question.
Within our means, means by what we have, not what we can borrow.
Spending as much as we can, means we borrow, we use credit, we take on debt; we have as much as they will allow us to have.
How many have used one debt to pay for another?
They use an asset as collateral, a loan from a loan, to buy something else, but the asset then becomes at risk.
If we live within our means, some say that is a boring life. You can only spend what is in your pocket, you cannot live like others do.
But what you do not see, what you do not feel, is what they are like when no one is there.
If we all spend as much as we can,
where will that leave us?
