All Roads Lead To Rome
Do all roads lead to Rome; the Vatican, the holy church?
The Roman Empire stretched out, reached across the world; Rome conquered all.
Is that true today? Does Rome still have that reach?
Christianity, Christ, God; what are the numbers, who are the people? How much sway does Rome have?
In BC, Rome was an empire building, in AD, Rome began to decline; was it because of the actions of the Romans, that their empire began to dwindle? Was it because he was put upon a cross; the ultimate mistake was made? Was a God killed? Was a sacrifice made, or just a mortal man, beginning the story of eternity?
Who could place a God upon a cross? Who could inflict such wounds?
Why did so many gather? Why do so many continue to gather?
They say the sun rises, the sun sets; three days from the crucifixion, the stone rolled back, and the son rose.
A fable, a story, truth, or fiction? Did Rome trigger off a new way of life? Was a life given, so that so many could be saved?
They say God, whoever God is to you, is everywhere, in everything; the Earth was created, the Earth exists, and life continues.
What does a sacrifice, mean to you?
