Are They There For You?
Who is there? Who are there? Where are they?
Who is there for you?
We travel through this life, facing all sorts of trouble and strife, and they say there are some that will be there for others.
Look around, where do you find them? Can you see them? Can they be picked out from a crowd? Do they sit near you, next to you? Do they see you, or are you a ghost to them?
To most people in life today, ghosts surround them; a false smile, an empty conversation, no bonding or coming together. Life is life they say, make of it what you will; what do people make of their lives, when facing such loneliness or emptiness.
It is there if you look, it can be found if you try, it stands there and stares you in the face.
Life is for the living, not for the dying; come together and see bonds of friendship, for without it, what do people have to turn to, what do they have to fall back on, what is there as their rock, their great oak, their support mechanism?
Does life work for you? Is it there for you? How do you build trust, with so much doubt?
Trust takes time to come, takes time to build; what has life become, where friendship and trust are untrusted? What has to happen for such things to happen? What have people been through to fear new friendships?
Is life so bad, so bleak, so empty, that a new friendship comes at too high a price?
The world is against us, the pressures of life; and still, at the end of a dark tunnel, light can be seen. Look around you, do you know how to recognise it, has it just washed over you, or do you allow it to pass you by?
A feeling within yourself, an aura received from another; can you feel it? Dare you trust it?
What rewards come with it?
Is a life of loneliness really worth the price?
Watch for the falsehoods, for there layeth the trap; only genuineness can offer true support.
Find it, identify it, and hold on to it.
