Beyond The Mask Of The Dream
We all dream of better tomorrows.
We all dream of being relevant; to our friends, our families, our jobs. But there is this shadow chasing us, constantly looking over our shoulder. This shadow is our health.
It is not something we can watch, it is not something we can feel. It goes on within each and every one of us, only rearing its head at the most inopportune moments.
The mind and the body are supposed to function as one.
In the world we now find ourselves in, where our mental stabilities are constantly being challenged; the unseen stress is actually there for all to see; look around you, it is not just the beggar on the street, it is the untold stories of the empty faces.
Societies are corroding. The new stresses of life are like water slowly eroding and reshaping the rock faces.
It doesn’t happen overnight, it is a slow process.
But when you look around you now, when you look closely, how much erosion has already taken place? What do you see? What can you see? What does anybody see in today’s world where the lines are blurred, the tracks are crossed and people are, more now than ever, losing their grip on reality?
Are we now living in a time where what we see is becoming the new normal? Could we have ever believed that people would be wearing medical masks walking around the streets, walking into shops, even driving in their cars?
Are we living in a nightmare of epic proportions? How have all these people become so indoctrinated, so fearful of what they do not understand?
The old and the young, the strong and the weak, the infirm, are fearing for their lives; what has happened to people?
Why are people just accepting what is being suggested to them?
If this can be so easily achieved, what hope is there for people when they are asked to give away their freedom of thought? The question must be asked, have they already done so?
And if that be the case, have people, have the masses, surrendered themselves to life on the invisible chain gang?
Did so many surrender so much to have it simply given away?
The truth behind the lies, the truth behind the mask; is that what the world economic situation is? Without Covid-19 it had already gone into recession, they just needed a cover story.
Have they found it? Is this what this is?
People need to think, not just accept what the talking heads are telling them.
Will people ever escape into freedom or will that word be stricken from the languages of the world?
