From You To Them Not So Far The Gap
Do you know what they’re doing to you? Can you identify it?
The rich and the poor are more alike than you could possibly imagine.
The social gaps between the two are manmade. Whatever you have, whatever you don’t have, someone somewhere controls that. We are all persuaded, every minute of every hour of every day, that we need things.
That need, is perpetrated by someone else’s greed. But who is at the top of the chain? Who controls the controllers? Who has the ultimate say? And how did they get there, to that lofty position? It could have been you or I.
A queer twist of fate or is there something more sinister?
Who? What? Where? And why?
What do you think is this mystical power, they possess? Was it their education, the best schools that money can buy? Was it their birth right that allowed them such a sweet passage? Were they born into a special club, where their forebears were their forerunners?
It didn’t matter which door they went through, it didn’t matter what mistakes they made, they were always afforded a chance we never had. Is it a dynasty? Is it something that has been passed down through the ages, a name or a privilege? Is it in their bloodline to continue, to always remain above us?
Who are the controllers of our lives?
Where would that journey take us to find such answers? Or are these answers staring us in the face? Does anyone truly hold destiny in their palms, in their hands? How do these people get to where they are? How do they get the wealth, the power, the influence?
Could it be that it is not theirs alone but they are in a club, an elite club, where the elite rich, the privileged, the one-percenters, exist on a different plane, a different existence to ours?
They make policy, they make rules, they decide who wins and who loses. Is it just a game to them, where we are the pieces on a board? Are people beginning to see this? Is this way of life coming to an end or are we merely trapped in a delusion of pretence?
Look around the world, what can you see?
Will we ever be free?
