How Many Shadows Will Be Left Behind?
What have they done to us? What have they turned us into?
Are we shadows of our former selves?
They say the world was facing bleak times before Covid, before the pandemic; people were already living with stress, difficulty of the mind; things were already falling apart.
The world outside is bleak, unacknowledged, but there nonetheless. People endeavour to be, but we can see what there is. There are shadows and there are ghosts, people of their former selves; the husks of a people, the bodies of a mass, a writhing sea of forlorn shadows.
We need look no further than the outward expression, trying to shine in the darkness. When the doors close behind, and the lights go out, there is no shadow cast, just an emptiness, a blackness; is this a creation, is it manmade, who would do such a thing?
Who would force the people into the darkest corners of their mind? Who seeks to work against mankind? Who seeks to strip people of their light? What movement is there that we cannot see? What armies are amassing against us?
Should we be preparing for battle? Are we not already under assault?
The weapons of war are upon us, both physical and psychological. A divided people are a weakened people; and that weakness strengthens those who would act against us.
Pushed, ever further, nearer to the edge they would have us go, a cliff edge awaits, a sheer drop; and the winds of change are amassing, they gather their energies, build-up their momentums, and begin to be felt.
What should we be looking for? What signs are there; a sign post, a gut feeling, something in the water, something in the air?
We live and breathe, but are we alive? Without bond and unity, without common cause, without camaraderie and friendship, we are just a rabble, uncaring and untrusting.
There they have the power over you.
