Is The Apple Now Forbidden To All Of Us?

 
What are we now seeing, Apple and Google joining in partnership to protect us from ourselves?
In the name of salvation they come together. In the name of the Coronavirus, COVID-19 pandemic, they come together.

We are to believe that these two totally independent companies have our welfare at heart. Is this the beginning of the roller-coaster, where we surrender ourselves to the surveillance state? Are we now weak enough and vulnerable enough to welcome this with open arms?

Have they now got us where they wanted us all along? In a land of confusion do we now not live? Is the tiger about to pounce?

We should not worry, we should not fear, there are no nefarious actions taking place here.

No one should ever doubt them with what they seek to achieve. The people of the world are sleep walking with their eyes wide open, into a surveillance state.
How many will stand up and question such actions? How many will stand up and say no?

They will use all means at their disposal to usher in this new age. A painless transition must be sort. This pandemic may just be the perfect catalyst for such a thing.

Accept this at your own risk, but if we do, what else are we prepared to accept? Once precedent has been set, they will use it as a launching pad.

Welcome to tomorrow, for yesterday we lived.

Are we divided? Have they won?

Should we be divided, should we give in? Is there anything we can possibly do to stand against these leviathans of business? Are they using our fear, are they using this pandemic to usher in a worldwide surveillance state?

They can watch us from above, they can monitor us on the streets, they will track us with our phones; are we to welcome this?
Should we throw open our arms and lay down our rights?

How much are we prepared to give away, to have freedom today?
