Making Friends – Finding New Companions

 
What does a new year bring with it; pledges of change, new resolutions, new faces?

New friends are found, new days dawn, a new year offers opportunities to strike new bonds, make new connections; a year starts a fresh, another number on a calendar.

What does that number offer to people? What light shines upon them?
They say guidance of religion shows a path, lights a way. A smile, a touch; new things are born from such things.

Who knows where life takes people? Who knows what to expect?
Life is a path that many take; a billion people, eight billion people, or one person, known new to another. Our path is unknown, but our journey is already decided; no matter which way we look, which way we turn, we always come back to where we were meant to be.

We think we choose our direction, we think we have that choice, but that direction had already been set in stone. Turn left, turn right, reverse; no matter what people try, they always return to ‘True North’, a magnetic pulse set from the beginning to time.
What draws us to one another? What pull can we not see? Is it magnetism?

Look at life, look at where you are, look at where you thought you were going, and then look at this New Year …

What will it bring? Where will it take you?
