Mentally And Emotionally Cavitating Inwards
How strong are our emotions? What do people believe?
Conviction, mistrust, how they battle; should we believe in ourselves? Can we trust others? What does today’s world show us?
A world of wars, a world of hate; the perception of aggression, manifesting itself as a picture that they paint for us. We are shown what has to be done, to what they must do; they are only protecting us, after all.
They seek not of their own gain, it is for the goodness of the people that these war machines roll across the lands destroying, killing, decapitating. War has to be, so they say, it has to have a place; how else are things settled?
They have left the boxing ring, and taken to the wide-open spaces.
Armies on each side, hell-bent on killing one another; do the soldiers know or understand the politics?
War is a game of chess, moving and strategically positioning the pieces; laying traps for the unwitting. Is that where life is today, traps laid for the unwitting?
How many people are engrossed, caught up, in the magic of today?
Is life a trick, a play on words? Should we ask ourselves how they do it, and why we play along? Great opportunity is offered, huge rewards can be had, but at what risk, and to who?
Are we all caught up in this game, pretending we know how to play? Who holds what cards? Who is bluffing? Who has a ‘full house’, and who is ‘bust’?
They tell us this can go on indefinitely, no one has to really pay; but if we look around, we can see the pain of payment, we can see the suffering and hardship, of this modern-day life.
The pain is just beginning, the battle of ourselves is about to commence; all it will take, is the realising that the suffering need not be, and life can change. Is life for the changing, or are people stuck in a rut? Can people dig their way out, and find and see a new beginning; or are they trapped in a world of their own making?
Do we shape this world, or is it shaped for us?
