Shadowing Ourselves – They Hide From Us In The Darkness
In the shadow of our lives, how many ghosts exist?
Do we see them? Can we feel them? Do we know that they are there?
Have you ever seen something; a glimmer, a glint of light, a shimmer; something ‘just’ out of sight, that only your peripheral vision and your subconscious mind can see? How much energy exists around us; static, positive or negative charge; what keeps us ticking over?
The electrical impulses within us; our heart, our mind, our body, our soul; and we think we are alive. Is there life beyond our physical form; charged particles, neon lights, neutrons impacting atoms? We are the ultimate in existence, and yet we know little of ourselves.
We study us, we research us, we look for answers to what ails us, our physical form defines us. We are charged and recharged, we suffer negativity, and short-circuit ourselves; the current of life feeds the bright sparks.
Can you feel energy? Can you feel the positives and the negatives, adding to your life and subtracting from it?
In the darkness there are no shadows, in the light, we cast of ourselves.
We are free to think, and yet we are drained, corralled, tied up. Do we shackle ourselves to our lives? Do we yearn to be free?
Deep down there, in the darkest parts of our minds, where the ghosts of our lives hide; what light is there, at the end of that metaphorical tunnel?
Similarities and commonalities guide us and bind us; we know of ourselves with like minded people. Billions are out there, billions have gone before, and yet only a tiny number know of themselves.
Stepping together, or being out of sync; what does time provide, as our time ticks by?
Are you in the darkness, or are you in the light?
So many questions to be answered in a belief.
Are we all that there is?
