Spam – Where Are Your Emails Hiding?
How often do people check their email spam folders? How many important emails don’t seem to get through?
How many membership connections, Doctors’ appointment, hospital appointments, are missed because email servers decide, for some crazy unknown reason, to put emails in there?
It used to be that the person receiving the email could choose whether it was spam or not, whether to block it or not; now these new AI computer systems, unmonitored by human beings, seem to be making a mess of everything. Granted some emails are a nuisance, are pestering, but that should be up to the receiver of the emails, not a computer or program deciding for them.
Have you lost anything? Have your emails gone astray? Have you been waiting for a reply to an email that you have sent?
What is a spam folder for? What is a trash folder? Why is it not up to the person receiving the emails, to decide for themselves?
Is Big Brother watching us, studying us, and then deciding for us; or is it that people just cannot be bothered to check their in-boxes? Is spam automatically ignored by the receiver?
When was the last time you checked your spam folder; you may be surprised to see what is in there?
Some things are important, some things not so; but if a computer is deciding for you, if a computer is misdirecting your emails, does that not then mean that the email servers, the emailing system, is either broken or needs to be overhauled?
Spam used to mean food, trash means rubbish; have a look in your spam folder, have a look in your trash folder, and decide for yourself what is important to you. You just never know what might be hiding in that spam folder, that you deem to be important.
Some people are now having to check their trash and spam folders every day, because emails are being wrongly downloaded by software programs that are constantly being updated for the hell of it.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
