Surveillance Once Turned On – When Turned Off?
Is this the question that needs asking, right now?
What strategy is being played out here? How many people will ask this question? How many people will awaken from their slumber and say, wait a minute; you want to watch everything we do, you want to know everywhere we are and everywhere we have been; in the name of our safety do you bring in these rules.
Before we give our freedom away, what assurances are there that we can trust them? What assurances have there been, that we can trust them? Has our history not taught us one thing; absolute power corrupts absolutely. We will be assured, we will be promised, it will be guaranteed. But how many guarantees and how many assurances have been broken in the past?
Welcome this in if you wish, but if people do, they give away the last bastion of hope, they surrender willingly to a system that has sort to control us, sort to watch us, surveil us for decades.
Let us hope that this pandemic was not a grand plan to usher in a most heinous of events.
Once this app, this good for the people app, is installed; how do you then remove it, block it, destroy it? It will not be an app, it will be an operating system upgrade. Check your permissions before you install. Do not turn on automatic updates.
We have become so used to the latest tech; are we now ready to surrender ourselves? What guarantees do we have that we can believe what they tell us? Those that choose to accept this, are they right or wrong? Common sense must prevail before we lose ourselves behind the veil.
If we surrender ourselves now, what hope is there for our future? Once this technology becomes the norm, commonplace, accepted, we will then be easy targets. There will be no escaping it, it will not be just surveillance, other things will be introduced on the back of it.
Precedent must not be set, for if it is,
we lose.
