The Psychological Trappings Of Life
What awaits us? What beckons us? What baits us?
Some are drawn in, some are pulled in, some simply fall; psychology against the people.
How may go on a psychological rollercoaster? How many know when to get off?
Life treats us in strange ways, the universe an echo of past life; where we now stand, do we stand together, or do we stand alone?
The mind games they play on us, the twists and the turns; we think we know our own minds, our hearts and our souls; if only things were simple, people would not become trapped. Through the mist we can see, or at least we think we can; a lighthouse on a shore, guiding us to safety, or luring us to damnation?
Games are played, people fall foul, simple things should be known; no trickery, no subterfuge. If only things were as easy as that, the world might look very different, than that of the world we see today.
Love and honesty should shine through the murkiness; are we sure of ourselves? Can we trust ourselves? What is trust today?
People need trust, because without it, there is no feeling of honesty; always a tension, always fragility.
If the truth can be the truth, and the lies be banished, what people will have left, is honesty and openness. If only the people could see it.
Why does life have to be so complicated, why are there so many hidden depths; life should be straightforward?
Too much complexity can make difficult situations even worse; a straightforward approach is all that is needed to find their way. Is accepting such a thing so difficult?
How many relationships have come and gone, because people found it just too difficult to spit it out, and open up to one another?
Is a chance squandered a chance lost?
