The Real Cost Of War – Who Pays And With What?
With any war, there has to be two or more conflicting sides, and there are always losers.
The real cost of war; what price does a war carry, both physically and mentally?
People suffer emotional conflicts, they endure the psychological impacts of fear and not knowing. Prices have to be paid, the cost of living rises to fund wars, governments say they will find the money from somewhere; what they should be saying is, that that money and the exposure to the loss of it, falls on their people, the taxpayer.
Wars are not free, they come at great cost; Millions, Hundreds of Millions, and in some cases, many Billions of Dollars are spent and lost, in times of war. The human suffering is incalculable; one person lost to war is inexcusable, and when thousands are sacrificed to achieve an objective, we should ask; was the exchange of life, really worth it?
They count the costs, they number the dead, they look at the damage and the destruction, and somehow they find excuse and reasoning to explain away, why so many had to die. Wars for some, pay. Huge industries exist to satisfy the demands of war; bullets, tanks, ships, planes, rockets, are all made by huge industry; some term it, The MIC, or The Military Industrial Complex.
Without war, what do these companies do, why do they exist? What would their purpose be? They could always just stockpile hundreds of millions of rounds, tens of thousands of rockets, fields upon fields of tanks; huge areas of land where the unwanted, unused, fighter jets would sit rotting away until one day called upon. These Trillion Dollar businesses need wars, they need conflict for them to prosper; without war there would be no military industrial complex, their existence would be unnecessary.
So how do they justify their existence?
War justifies their existence, and conflicts have to be created, for wars to exist.
What we see on the TV, what we see in the mainstream media, are the big munitions companies, fighting for supremacy; who has the biggest bomb, who can do the most damage, who can kill the most people with a single action. Trade fairs exist, huge shows take place, demonstrating the destructive power of these weapons; orders are placed by governmental departments, and Hundreds of Billions of Dollars change hands, in the name of defence.
That is the perfect reasoning behind the word ‘deterrent’. A deterrent would not be needed, if people were not compelled to take that, that does not belong to them. What we are seeing in the world today, in whichever war-zone we look at, is an unnecessary loss of life.
Who defends, and who attacks? Who is righteous, and who is wrong?
The mainstream media and the political establishment, would have us choose one, over another. But how many people really know, the reasons why wars are fought?
If we allow ourselves to become convinced by outside influence, that the justification of war is real, what do we allow ourselves to become, if we believe those, who want wars in the first place?
Should you trust those who want to sacrifice you, to achieve their agendas?
