The World Stock Markets And The Game
Are we really so easily to be fooled? Can we honestly believe that stock markets recover naturally?
What halts the blood bath? What halts the carnage? What stops these markets crashing to zero?
How many people actually take notice? Most on the street do not, why would they? How can it possibly affect their lives? How could it possibly affect our lives?
The answer is simple, somewhere up the road, we will be charged, we will have to pay for all this Quantitative Easing.
How much does it cost a Central Bank to support a crumbling stock market?
Millions, Hundreds of Millions, Billions, even Trillions; that’s 12 zeros, a Trillion.
How many of us even utter such words?
Well, in Zimbabwe, in 2008, that was a bank note, just as we have bank notes today. A runaway hyperinflation caused the devaluation of their currency, to such an extent that the same bank note, that once had a parity with the US Dollar, suddenly become worthless. Worth a lot less.
If this were to happen to you, what would your savings be worth?
$100,000 today could be worth $10 tomorrow.
Could we even conceive of such a thing? Our life savings, our home, our pension reserves, wiped out, eviscerated, through someone’s greed. What would that feel like? What did it feel like to them? Yes, we could say Zimbabwe is a faraway land, some may say a third world country, or they used to be. But hyperinflation has visited other countries before; in Germany the Deutsche Mark collapsed, in Russia the Ruble collapsed.
But that can’t happen today, can it. We have computer programs, algorithms, high frequency trading and plunge protection teams; protecting our way of life, protecting our livelihoods and our wealth.
So why has a virus, the Coronavirus, COVID-19, suddenly triggered off panic in the systems? Why are the Central Banks pouring Trillions of Dollars into these markets? Are they spending our savings? Have they swept your accounts?
Where does the money come from, that they seemingly spirit out of nowhere, to protect themselves?
If we do not look at this, if we do not see this coming, if we are silent in our opinions; what life do we have?
What reality do we live?
Is there a reality, in today’s made up world?
