We Are Free – Finally We Are Free

 
Are we finally free? Have they released us?
Are we back to normal, back to our old way of life?

Can we come and go as we please, mix with whoever we like, do whatever we want to?

Have they delivered on their promise, that things would return to normality? Have they lifted the restrictions; no mask wearing, no more social distancing, no more capital control; or are we living in a police state, curfews, limited movement enforced by legislation, backed up by military police?

Are we free to roam the streets, free to eat, free to shop, free to mix? Has martial law taken hold, are the draconian powers, that were only meant to be temporary, now in the legislature, now written into law?

Are we barcoded, have we been injected, do we carry our identification under our skin? Have they tagged us like cattle, are we herded like sheep? Is this just a nightmare, and we are all still asleep?

Is this today, or is it the future that awaits us all if we chose to look away, choose to be bought; and pretend to ourselves that this new way of life is now normal?

Where are we today, what have we become? What have they, what are they, what will they do to us next, to achieve their goals of worldwide domination?

Where does this find itself? Who is reading it? And what does life look like?

Are we in the past, are we in the present, are we in the future? What are we to think, what are they having us think, what do they hope we will think, to go along with their plans?

How many have been persuaded, lulled in, by a false sense of security? Where is life now taking us? What will life be like, if people believe, without thought?
What consequence awaits people, if they believe in a system that acts with impunity?

Impunity to inflict greater controls, greater demands, more hardship; do people think this is just for now, liberties lost in the name of protection?
This system is rolling forward, rolling out a new way of life; whatever makes people think that where we are now, will ever be rescinded and normality returned?

We are on a slippery slope, set upon a path, and things will not get any better if people refuse to consider change has come. What awaits those who blindly believe that the system acts for them?

Why would they return us to normality, when what they are doing now, serves them best?

Were we free? Are we free?

Will we be free; ever again?
