What Will This Pandemic Really Cost Us?
Our freedoms, our liberties and to some their very existence; but wait. No, that is not correct. We are protected. The system is here for us. It is in place for the many.
Unfortunately there are too many consuming it; the system is crumbling, the foundations are weak, the building is collapsing.
Is it a controlled demolition? Time will tell.
We will have to wait, to see the true extent of the damage this global earthquake will inflict upon us all.
How many knew to make for the high ground, how many have prepared, how many have the ability to weather the storm?
Some say a million people knew this was approaching, but others say too many were partying to notice the storm clouds gathering.
We are now in the grip of an economic slowdown, where tens of millions are losing their jobs. Will we recover, will the economy come back, how long will it take to come out of lockdown? Some are saying life may never be the same again. Did we all enjoy the party?
Can we cope with the hangover?
Who would have ever thought that one day the music would stop and there were no chairs to sit on?
With all the unemployed now making claim against the system, with tens of millions of businesses either at risk or closed, how will the system recover? Will manufacturing bounce back? Will global demand come back to life?
Who has any money, when unemployed, to buy anything? Will fair value, will honest prices, without debt, without credit, ever see the light of day again?
We have all been living in a misaligned distorted existence.
We agreed the contract, we signed our names, we bought into the BS, we believed the crap; we agreed to be enslaved.
Could it be that we now have to awaken from our utopian lifestyle and see the truth in the mirror. Is Dorian Gray staring back at us?
Will we all have to pay the price for life beyond our means?
