Where Death No Longer Has A Meaning
How many of us are to be given away, so that business can survive?
Are we to be discarded, consigned to the rubbish heap? Are we just trash in their eyes?
They announce people’s deaths, they tell us of people’s passing; as if they read the results from a sports match. Is it all just simply a game to them? Is that what we have become, an acceptable loss, laid out before the altar of capitalism?
It is all about the money, checks and balances, profits and loss.
To them we come and go; a hundred, five hundred, ten thousand, a million; as long as the books balance, as long as they stay where they are, death is an acceptable cost of doing business.
They promise us no more lockdown, they say the vaccines will work; how many of the dead were made those promises? How many of the ill can rely on those words?
Statistics can be bent and shaped, the wording is critical, and people must be persuaded to believe it.
Where death no longer has a meaning, people become expendable. In any war, where people fight for survival, casualties always exist; how many this time around, have they made provision for?
They built the hospitals, they dug the graves, and they created the vaccines in record time; it was almost as if they were prepared, for what was to come.
How many, when asked, in the halls of power, in the halls of government, will tell us the truth of what they have planned?
We are just the people; for them to remain in power, for business to continue to function, how many of us do they really need, to guarantee their survival? Is that what they have set out to achieve, their survival, at the expense of our demise?
People choose to look away, but when the mirror no longer steams, and the breath is no longer felt, will people have time to regret their choices; the choices they were free to choose?
In a country where vaccination is forced upon the people, mandated, what does their government fear; freedom of choice or freedom of will?
Did they see a war coming, a war they could not win; so they made the choice for their people?
What choice, have people made?
